Fine Food
We have sourced the world’s finest extra virgin olive oils from Italy, France, Chile, Greece, Spain and Australia. We feature small production estate produced olive oils, for the discerning palettes of our customers. OIio Carli and Planeta are always used in Picone’s kitchen.

We carry 25-year-old balsamic vinegars from Modena, Italy, as well as Saba balsamic vinegar made from the illustrious Lambrusco grape. We import special hand-cut and air-dried pastas from Italy, and a selection of truffle infused flours, honeys, and mustards to name a few. We also carry fresh black or white truffles when in season.

We regularly feature local artisan companies like De La Terre bread from Vineland, Lac Brome duck products from Quebec including fois gras and duck confit, local dairies like Baa Best Sheep Dairy and Hewitt’s Dairy, and Greaves jams from Niagara-on-the-Lake.

In addition, we feature seasonal rare specialities like sea asparagus, japanese lettuces, edible flowers, and local organic garlic to name a few.
